Social Traders Australia

Social Traders is an independent company established to facilitate, support and advocate for the development of social enterprise in Australia. We work collaboratively to:

  • raise the profile and highlight the benefits of social enterprise
  • influence government policy
  • generate investment and market opportunities
  • build skills and knowledge
  • encourage a coordinated approach to social enterprise development in Australia, and
  • increase trading capability.

Social Traders also run The Crunch, a programme based on the Spark model.

Steps

Steps Leicestershire Conductive Education Centre caters for children from birth until school age, when ongoing support is available in the form of a gym club and Stepping Out for teenagers. Most children who attend have Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome or other similar conditions, ranging from mild to severe that make motor co-ordination difficult.

Our highly skilled team of professionals that work with the children are led and managed by a management team and Trustees. Steps is a registered charity and a lead setting at Foundation level. Steps practices conductive education, a learning process that includes all aspects of the children’s development.
