Building Blocks Take Over The Old Village Print Shop

The TREES group have successfully found a suitable partnering organisation to utilise the previous Whaley Thorns Village Print Shop, which is situated next door to the recently reopened Chippy.
Building Blocks Solutions are a not for profit organisation with head office in Mansfield that provide a range of service to adults and children in the East Midlands, regarding their welfare and wellbeing.
The staff of Building Blocks Solutions have many years experience in working with people who have enduring mental health needs, emotional difficulties or difficulty in coping with areas of their life.
Building Blocks Solutions opened their services to the community in Whaley Thorns and the surrounding area on 4th September 2007.
The premises will provide the following services:
• First Steps service, works with people who would like advice, information and support in order to make their lives more manageable
• Senior Steps service, is designed to offer a support service to people aged 60 years and over.
• Odd Jobs Plus service, which provides a high quality, reliable handyman service, available to the local community to undertake and odd jobs around the home and office.
