Going Green! BS8555

Newlife Regeneration Construction Ltd & Thorpete Associates Ltd are working towards gaining accreditation for BS8555. This accreditation will allow the companies to exhibit their green credentials and sound environmental practice through the phased implementation of an acknowledged Environmental Management System (EMS).
The scheme comprises six phases, requiring participants to implement the achievement criteria and stage profiles for each of the phases of BS 8555, a defined and logical British Standard which sets out the different steps for implementing a formal EMS, eg ISO 14001 or EMAS. Acorn are currently auditing the companies at stage three.
